Summer Camps at East Park

2022 Summer Camp Registration will begin January 10, 2022!

East Park was one of the few venues that offered camps in 2021, and we are proud to have provided a fun and safe environment for many children to enjoy their summer camp experience.  Please note that spots are limited. If you go to register and your preferred week is not available, this means it is full but we do have waiting lists.  To join a waiting list please email [email protected] with your child’s name, the camp and the preferred week. We are anticipating a fun filled summer and camps will include access to activities that are permitted to open per government restrictions.

Our Junior Golf and Rock Climbing camps offer a great way to learn the sport with fun, professional instruction for kids ages 8-16. The Junior Fun camp features an assortment of indoor and outdoor play for kids ages 5-10. All camps are 5 day programs, Monday to Friday throughout the summer. Full day camps are 9:00am to 4:00pm . Early and late care is available from 7:45am to 5:15pm for an additional fee and lunch programs are also available.

Level 1 – Introduction to Golf (Ages 8 – 14)

The golf program runs for one week periods in July and August, Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. This five day course comes with supervised instructions, lessons on rules of the game, limited on-course exposure and lots of great fun. Juniors are asked to bring their own clubs if possible as we can only supply a limited number.

Afternoon – sessions of supervised games and activities (including scheduled sessions on waterpark (if open), mini-golf, batting cages, rock climbing and go-karts). Runs from noon until 4:00pm.

Level 1.5 – Full Day Intermediate Golf Program (Ages 10 – 16)

The program caters to the more advanced golf camper looking for more on-course exposure than offered in Level 1. This course offers 2 afternoons a week for on-course play and the other 3 afternoons for supervised activities throughout the park.

Prerequisite – Level 1 program or previous golf experience. Approval of the Golf Professional is required and players must supply their own golf clubs.

Week Long Jr. Golf Membership!

This is not a camp per se but includes an orientation followed by unlimited golf at East Park Monday through Friday and then Saturday and Sunday with an accompanying adult green fee.  Ideal for the young golfer who just wants to play golf.  Must be 12 years of age or older up to 17 years old.  This does not include instruction beyond the orientation and is unsupervised.

Level 1 – Introduction to Rock Climbing (Ages 9 – 14)

The rock climbing program runs for one week periods in July and August, Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. This five day course comes with supervised instruction on climbing basics, route climbing, organized climbing games, project climbs, fundamental skills of safe climbing and more.

Afternoon – sessions of supervised games and activities (including scheduled sessions on waterslide (if open), mini-golf, batting cages, go-karts and bumper cars). Runs from noon until 4:00pm.

Jr Fun Camp – Ages 5 – 10

The fun camp runs for one week periods in July and August, Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. This five day program is fully supervised and all activities are age appropriate with lots of good fun.

The camp features an assortment of outdoor and indoor play. In the morning, campers will enjoy supervised games, activities and crafts in the shade of the Garden Park Areas.

The campers will have a supervised break for lunch. In the afternoon, the campers will enjoy indoor rock climbing, followed by play in the waterpark splash pad and age appropriate water attractions. Campers will also participate in other activities such as mini-golf, indoor jungle gym and bumper cars for the balance of the afternoon.

Campers can purchase the Meal Plan for the week at $40.00 plus tax, bring their own lunch, or they can purchase a meal in person when here for roughly $10 depending on meal choice.

Cancellation Policy:
A Full refund will be provided if cancellation is at least two (2) weeks prior to the registered session, Subject to a $40+tax admin charge per registrant. If cancellation is less than two (2) weeks prior to the registered session then the $100 deposit will be forfeited. There will be no refunds given once the camp session has started. NSF cheques subject to $40+tax bank charge.

Camp Frequently Asked Questions

Camps can be overwhelming for parents! No fear, East Park has your the answers to your camp questions!

Day camps run from 9am-4pm Mon-Friday. Campers can be dropped off anytime from 8:45-9am. If you require early care, this begins at 7:45 for a fee of $25+tax for the week. Late care is also available until 5:15pm for $25+tax or choose early and late for $40+tax.

We follow government regulations and reccomendations to ensure all campers have a safe and fun experience!

  • Ratios of campers to counsellor will be 12:1
  • Physical contact within pods will be kept to a minimum but it is understood that within the pod it may be unavoidable
  • Pods and individuals from different pods will always maintain at least a 6 foot distance from each other.
  • Camper pods will each have an orange wristband to indicate that they are campers and a second wristband that indicates the colour of their pod.
  • Spitting of saliva or liquids of any kind will be not permitted
  • No shouting or screaming in order to avoid droplet transmission into the air
  • No close touching between participants or staff
  • No individuals in a camp pod will be able to mix or switch participants with other pods
  • No sharing of sunscreen, water/drink bottles, and no sharing of snacks will be allowed between participants or staff
  • No outside household items will be permitted at camp this includes but is not limited to: stuffed animals, blankets, and toys unless comfortable with staff sanitizing upon arrival
  • No sharing of bags/snacks between groups. Please send each child with their own separate items to camp each day)
  • Daily screening checklists will be needed upon arrival and temperature checks will be performed at camp
  • Proper handwashing procedures will be taught to campers

Any activity permitted to be open per government regulations will be available including: The Waterpark, Go Karts, Batting Cages, Mini Golf, Driving range, and bumper cars.

In the event the waterpark is allowed to open per government restrictions, campers will be able to use the waterpark facility. This will be communicated to parents when opening is granted.

Should any participant in camp begin to show symptoms of COVID-19, they will immediately be separated from their Pod and monitored by a camp supervisor. Parents/Guardians will be notified for potential pick up.

  • Running Shoes (or closed toed sandals)

  • Snacks/lunch (lunch unnecessary if purchasing lunch package but snacks still needed) Peanut free lunches/snacks are encouraged
  • Change of clothes (accidents happen, we encourage being prepared)
  • Swim suit and towel (ONLY NEEDED IF WATERPARK IS OPEN)
  • Please avoid packing toys from home unless you are comfortable with us sanitizing them upon arrival to camp. A spray sanitizer would be used.

Absolutely, please send any grouping requests to [email protected] once your registration has been submitted. This must be done prior to the first Monday of camp. Any grouping requests after camp will not be accommodated.

If you decide to add on the meal plan for your camper, they will have the option to choose their lunch each morning! Lunches include a main such as Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, salads, sandwiches, a side like fries, salad or onion rings as well as a drink like milk, water, slushie, juice. Please note, you must still pack snacks for your camper.

A parent package outlining all important information including drop off and pick up and all required forms will be emailed the week before your camp begins.
