COVID-19 FAQ
We have compiled answers to a list of frequently asked questions that we hope will address most of your concerns regarding the upcoming golf season, as it relates to the COVID-19 crisis. As you know, this situation is currently changing on a regular basis, sometimes by the hours.
Golf essentially consists of a 10 or 20 km-controlled walk through 100 to 200 acres of nature. During those two to four hours of enjoyable, healthy activity, each foursome of golfers is typically ½ km away from the next group. Within the foursome itself, golfers have no trouble at all maintaining their distancing in such open spaces. Please see the attached link to comments made by Dr. Bonnie Henry (British Columbia’s Provincial Health Officer) on April 29, 2020, at which time she noted that the risk of COVID-19 transmission is significantly reduced while outdoors.
Yes, the clubhouse is open for purchases and washroom use. Masks are required when entering the clubhouse. The lounge is currently closed but the concession window and patio are open!
Power carts will be reserved for those who absolutely require them. Able-bodied golfers are encouraged to walk. Power carts if needed, maska are required unless proof of same household can be provided. Limited numbers of pull carts will be available.
There will be a significant list of protocols that must be followed by both staff and golfers. This list includes but is not limited to:
Pre-booking of tee-times are required, online advance payment is preferred.
Only arriving 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tee time, if you arrive earlier please remain in your car until that time. Do not congregate in the parking lot, come directly to the clubhouse/first tee.
Physical distancing should be practiced at all times
Masks are strongly required when a 6 foot separation cannot be kept or you are indoors. However, they are not mandatory outside unless stated otherwise ie. go karts. Please see link for proper wearing of masks Link
